So weird one first. This thing is immaculate. It is a time capsule of mediocrity or someone restored that. I mean no scratches or dings and nothing looked faded. I dont get it.
Cool VW
New Bentley, no plates. The shape of these is a lot like the new Lincoln, never realized that, bigger though.

A girlfriend of mine in high school had one of these - Lancer GTS if Im not mistaken. Turbo 4 and 5 speed made it the most fun-to-drive K-car you could get (but not the most fun that could be had IN a K-car - that would go to the first generation minivans!).

We had a Lebaron GTS turbo, 1988 model I think. Burgundy with bordello burgundy. I was is in high school and it was a fun car to borrow.

That style LeBaron was seen as pretty modern for a domestic in 1985.
A few years ago I too spotted one in traffic. This one was nicer colors, and also a preservation piece aside from the hubcaps:

The one I saw must have been a grandma car and then was left in a garage for years, then a professional detailer buffed it out. It was in strangely good condition.
